2030 Agenda

Our work and our commitment have a positive impact on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) set out in the United Nations 2030 Agenda. With our activity we fulfil targets to achieve eight goals of the Agenda.

In 2015, the heads of State and Government of the member states of the United Nations signed the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It is a joint commitment to resolve the socioeconomic and environmental challenges facing the planet and its inhabitants.

The 2030 Agenda focuses its efforts on 17 universal Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), through 169 specific targets. They are transformative and demanding goals that aim to achieve greater cohesion, social justice and sustainable growth within a period of 15 years, by 2030.

Sareb’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda

People, companies and governments, we must all collaborate to achieve these targets. At Sareb we are very aware of the relevance of the goals of the 2030 Agenda, which is why, below, we shall explain how we are contributing to the achievement of these goals.

Sareb’s mission and real estate development

Sareb was created with the public assignment of stabilising the financial system and helping to reactivate the real estate sector during an extremely complicated time. With our activity we have strengthened the liquidity and increased the solvency of the financial entities. Thus contributing to targets 17.13 and 8.10, respectively.

In the real estate development and promotion activity we recruit suppliers from different regions, thus favouring the creation of local employment (target 8.3). Furthermore, real estate promotions and completing unfished projects improve habitability and stimulates the areas in which they are located (target 11.1).
