Where our revenues come from

Our revenues originate from both the management and sale of loans and from the sale and letting of real estate assets acquired from banks that were bailed out by the State. In 2018, our revenues stood at more than €3,650 million. Loans are the main source of income (see data below). The loan business requires working closely with development companies (80% are SMEs) to actively manage the repayment of the debt that they hold with the company.

Revenue from real estate assets largely comes from the sale of housing and ancillary properties, followed by land, and to a far lesser extent commercial properties.

We also lease some of our properties, as this both increases the value of the assets for sale and allows properties that are difficult to sell to generate revenues.
