We comply with the specific standards of corporate governance required by law. We therefore have a highly experienced professional Board of Directors that is able to fulfil its objective. Our Board of Directors comprises 15 directors; five of which are independent, nine are proprietary (directors representing the company's main shareholders) and one executive director.
There are two committees within the Board of Directors: the Audit Committee and the Appointments and Remuneration Committee.
We also have support committees (Management, Risk, Investment and Assets and Liabilities) whose main objective is to assist the Board of Directors.
Despite Sareb not being a listed company, it has also implemented a series of corporate governance best practices, which go above and beyond the regulation requirements, demonstrating our commitment to being fully transparent and accountable.
