Sareb has recently opened a regional branch in Valencia to help manage the company’s properties across the Regions of Valencia and Murcia.<\/p>\n
“Opening this regional office will allow Sareb to gain a more in-depth knowledge of the local real estate sector, adapt our supply to the demand in each location and speed up the company’s sales rate”, said Sareb CEO Jaime Echegoyen<\/strong>, at a real estate conference organised by Olivares Consultores and Banco Santander in Valencia.<\/p>\n The Levante coast is one of Sareb’s key locations. The Region of Valencia accounts for 16% of the company’s entire property portfolio, while the number of property development loans in this area equate to nearly 15% of the total debt in favour of Sareb. The Region of Murcia accounts for 7% of the company’s total portfolio value and 5% of its debt.<\/p>\n Eva Beltrán<\/strong> leads the regional branch. She joins Sareb from Akuta and together with Óscar Reyes<\/strong> will be responsible for providing a regional overview of Sareb’s product, thereby helping to improve both its marketing strategy and the coordination with its servicers (Altamira Asset Management, Haya Real Estate, Servihabitat and Solvia), in order to meet the company’s sales and budget targets.<\/p>\n In the last five years, property sales in the Region of Valencia soared to 7,449<\/strong> units with a Net Book Value (NBV) of €578 million. In the Region of Murcia, a total of 1,919 properties were sold<\/strong> with a combined value of €131 million.<\/p>\n This office marks the second phase in Sareb’s construction of a regional network.
