{"id":24644,"date":"2021-12-02T18:24:38","date_gmt":"2021-12-02T17:24:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sareb.es\/sareb-vende-su-20-en-tempore-properties-a-tpg-real-estate-por-30-millones-de-euros\/"},"modified":"2021-12-03T12:39:19","modified_gmt":"2021-12-03T11:39:19","slug":"sareb-vende-su-20-en-tempore-properties-a-tpg-real-estate-por-30-millones-de-euros","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sareb.es\/en\/sareb-vende-su-20-en-tempore-properties-a-tpg-real-estate-por-30-millones-de-euros\/","title":{"rendered":"Sareb sells its 20% stake in T\u00e9mpore Properties to TPG Real Estate for \u20ac30 million"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"675\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/sareb-sede.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16980\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/sareb-sede.jpg 900w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/sareb-sede-300x225.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/sareb-sede-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Sareb has sold its 20.3% stake in the Socimi T\u00e9mpore Properties to TPG Real Estate Partners (TREP), the real estate equity investment platform of alternative asset firm TPG,  for approximately \u20ac30&nbsp;million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TPG now owns 99.45% of the Socimi, which was created by Sareb in 2018 as a form of disposing of its rental property portfolio and was listed on the Alternative Stock Exchange (MAB \u2013 now known as the BME Growth) that same year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since creating the Socimi, Sareb has generated a total of more than \u20ac326&nbsp;million in revenue, by gradually selling off its stake in the vehicle and through dividend payouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>T\u00e9mpore Properties currently manages a portfolio of more than 2,964 rental properties, most of which are located in metropolitan areas of the main Spanish cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the creation and subsequent sale of T\u00e9mpore Properties, Sareb has been able to progress with its divestment mandate, while helping to stimulate the rental market, which has taken off in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sareb&#8217;s current strategy consists of investing in areas that bring added value to its portfolio, such as transforming its loans, real estate development, completion of unfinished development projects and land planning management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Javier Garc\u00eda del R\u00edo, Executive Chairman of Sareb, explained that this sale <em>\u201cwill enable us to pursue our mandate of managing and selling our portfolio, in order to boost revenues and cancel as much of the debt underwritten by the Spanish State as possible<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sareb has sold its 20.3% stake in the Socimi T\u00e9mpore Properties to TPG Real Estate Partners (TREP), the real estate equity investment platform of alternative asset firm TPG, for approximately \u20ac30&nbsp;million.
